Curb Your Enthusiasm tape helps acquit man of murder

A Los Angeles man who spent nearly six months in jail for murder has been cleared and released after a piece of film from the HBO series Curb Your Enthusiasm has proven it would have been logistically impossible for him to commit the crime.

The frames, which were deleted from the version of the program that aired, showed Juan Catalan and his daughter at a Dodgers game eating hot dogs (and wearing different clothes than witnesses claimed) at the time of the murder.
