Iranian President starts his own blog
23 August 2006

Despite his efforts to crack down on the blogging of his countrymen, Irainian President Mahmoud Ahmadinejad has started his own blog.
There's no indication if it will be updated daily or include notes about his shopping habits, adventures with Mike Wallace, his thoughts on world conflicts, emoticons indicating his current mood, his favorite Dilbert comic, a link to his MySpace page, or why he gets to do things he doesn't let other people do. His first entry is a fairly lengthy (for a blog) autobiography.
He ends with, "I will continue this topic later... From now onwards, I will try to make it shorter and simpler."
The blog can be found at www.ahmadinejad.ir.
